Drive towards 1 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043.
You will be guided to parking spots in the race area. Race starts
and finishes in Lot A.

*Day of parking is right behind Mountain View Fire Department Station 5 in the open parking lot. We will have Parking signs to guide you in. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
We will be giving out technical shirts at the Friday packet and bib pick-up on Friday April 3rd at the Police and Fire Administration building located at 1000 Villa Street, in Mountain View. You'll have to come to pick-up on Friday if you want to wear your new shirt for the race! For Saturday packet and bib pick-up, t-shirts will be given at the end of the race to streamline runners to the start.
Races begin at 9am - the course will be the paved trails through Shoreline Park with views of the Bay and Wetlands.
Pricing is as follows:
*With registration fee, you will receive refreshments, a custom 5th year anniversary fire-drill t-shirt, a reusable random acts bag, and everyone will receive a 5th year anniversary medal!
Award announcements expected to begin around 10:30 am.
Mountain View Firefighters Random Acts is a registered 501(C)3 nonprofit (Tax ID 47-3491312) created by dedicated firefighters who aim to perform random acts of good in our community. Funds raised by this run will be used here in our community. After Firefighters respond to calls for help, we observe situations where people need a helping hand or something that will improve their quality of life. We look for opportunities to compassionately meet the needs of people and make a positive difference through our random acts of kindness.
APRIL 2020 RACE HAS BEEN CANCELLED
On behalf of Mountain View Firefighters Random Acts (MVFRA), thank you so much for your generous contribution to the Fifth Annual Fire Drill 5K/10K and Kids’ Fun Run scheduled for April 4, 2020.
The safety of those we serve and support is always our highest priority. Following the Santa Clara County Public Health Department guidance statement regarding COVID- 19, dated March 9, 2020, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Mountain View Fire Fighters Random Acts Fire Drill 5K/10K Benefit Run.
The guidance statement in part recommends, “postponing or canceling mass gatherings and large community events over 250 people.” Based on this recommendation, Mountain View Fire Fighters Random Acts feels the responsible thing to do is to cancel the event. Due to the many unknown factors associated with COVID-19, we are uncertain as to when we would be able to reschedule the event in 2020. We have, therefore, decided to host the Fifth Annual Fire Drill 5K/10K next year on Saturday April 3rd, 2021.
Please know that we appreciate all the support the Fire Drill 5K/10K Benefit Run has enjoyed from all of our supporters and sponsors. We are humbled by your confidence in us and our mission which is to help those in need in our community.
As you have generously donated to our cause, we have two options for you to choose from:
1) We can defer your entry/entries until next year
2) Mountain View Firefighters Random Acts can issue a full refund of amount sponsored
If you would prefer a registration refund, we completely understand. Please send an email, no later than Thursday March 19th, requesting your refund with your name and order number to: Dschmitz@usfca.edu. We will compile the list and work with our registration partner.
