Fit to Fight

On Tuesday, December 18, 2018, the Mountain View Fire Department Random Acts presented checks to two separate cancer treatment organizations, Cancer CAREpoint and Bay Area Cancer Connections. Both groups support those affected by cancer with personalized services, assistance and care throughout the treatment process. Mountain View Councilmember Abe-Koga was in attendance as well.

Proceeds were raised through October 2018s “Fit to Fight” campaign, promoting health and fitness through Yoga and Zumba classes. The Fit to Fight program was presented by the Mountain View Firefighters Random Acts group and donations made by Lululemon, Starbucks Coffee company and Fitter.us.

Please bring your own yoga mat. There will be rentals.
Proceeds go towards nonprofits: Cancer Carepoint and Bay Area Cancer Connections.

Come support Fit to Fight outside at the Mountain View City Hall on Saturday, October 12, 2019, where we will host a yoga and Zumba festival at the Mountain View City Hall Plaza on Castro St.
All proceeds go towards Cancer Carepoint and Bay Area Cancer Connections.
